Our Fun Run next Friday is our main fundraiser for the PTA each year. It has raised over £5,000 regularly. It is simply a sponsored run or walk around the school grounds for 2 hours on a Friday afternoon. Pupils can dress in fancy dress, walk/run with their friends and be encouraged by their parents. All parents are welcome to attend from 1pm and should enter via the small green gates nearest the car park barrier. It is a great opportunity to catch up with familiar faces and have a coffee/tea and cake from our MacMillan stall. Please feel free to bring camping chairs!

Also coming up soon are our tours for existing parents – perhaps your child is new to the school or you’d like to see the newly refurbished Year 5 block – or put a few names to faces of our staff – please book your place by returning the booking slip or emailing Mrs Brown on brownt@woodlandacademy.co.uk for a tour in week commencing Sept 24th .

And finally…I’d like to wish everyone a really fantastic year ahead. Lots of learning, lots of happy memories to create, lots of growing both on the outside and on the inside (with our school values). To the staff, pupils and parents, let us all work together to ensure that 2018-19 is a successful year for all!
